Deeper

This new approach gives us space to explore the advanced vocal techniques and teaching style we’ve developed over the last few years as we have upskilled.

We are able to dive deeper into student using their voice not only for singing, but sharing their thoughts and opinions as co-creators of their lessons.

It also allows us to go deeper into mindset, performance, confidence, and emotional connection to song in a way we haven’t been able to before.

Longer

We’re evolving our lessons from 30 to 40 min to support our Student Led Lesson Style, which naturally takes more time than a traditional “correction-based” approach due to the nature of exploring and asking questions rather than telling.

This change creates space for curiosity, experimentation, repetition, and mindful pauses to help the brain digest and execute, it’s these moments where real learning happens.

And of course, it also makes room for more fun! Research shows we learn best (and feel braver to try new things) when we’re in a state of play and enjoyment.

Calmer

This evolved lesson stype allows more time for connection, relationship building and co-regulation strategies if needed at the start or during class to improve learning capacity by providing a calm, spacious lesson environment.

We’re also introducing a 5-minute transition time between lessons, meaning no more rushing or feeling like sessions end too soon. A calm student always learns better and centered teacher guides more thoughtfully.

This gentle buffer also gives teachers time to connect with parents at pick-up or drop-off if needed, write thoughtful lesson notes, and prepare with care for the next student.
